Stick on muscle heat packs that stay warm up to 12 hours to lower tummy / lower back
Cut the elastic off of period undies
Wear loose clothing such as sweats or a dress
Take tea to go
Start taking pain medicine at the first sign of pain and retake as label instructs. Do not wait extra time for pain to come back.
Stay warm- have layers such as sweaters, scarves, and beanies
Before your period take care of yourself by washing hair, shaving your legs, using a face mask etc so you feel cleaner during menses.
Before and during try a spoonful of blackstrap molasss a day for iron, which transports oxygen in blood. Low iron: low oxygen: fatigue. Take with vit C/orange which helps body use iron.
Avoid streneous movements. Do what you can before period. If possible, take a sick day or more.
